VOW, Coastal Roots & St. Martin's Students put 500 trees in wetlands
On January 13, 2010 forty-nine 7th graders from St. Martin's Episcopal School in New Orleans made the short journey to Point-aux-Chenes in Terrebonne Parish. Less than 7 miles from the Gulf of Mexico, the students
planted approximately 500 trees to
replenish that area of wetlands.
